Summary
Taliban militants seized a 23-member South Korean Christian aid group on July 19, 2007, while they were traveling to Kandahar. Two male hostages, including group leader Bae Hyung-kyu (42), were shot and killed. The remaining 21 hostages were held captive, primarily in the Ghazni area. Two female hostages (Kim Gina and Kim Kyung-ja) were released on August 13 as a goodwill gesture following face-to-face negotiations with South Korean officials. The remaining 19 hostages were still in captivity at the time of the article's publication.
Where
We record how precisely an event can be placed, because "somewhere in the province" and "this street" are different claims.
Placed to province only. No source names a district, so the entry is recorded at the coarsest honest level rather than implying a precision we do not have.

Each code names the treaty provision the conduct engages, so the assignment can be checked rather than trusted.
